Chris and I reunited Diggy and Aurora (former cagemates before we rescued them) on Friday. We decided to try it mostly to save room and to possibly have a couple babies, we have a few friends that want Leos. I might not leave them together if Aurora gets stressed or if I notice her health diminishing at all. Because of the discussion we had in another thread I'm not even sure if she will have eggs, but Diggy sure seems hopeful! Here are a few pics of how the union went.
When I brought Aurora over I wanted her to warm up a bit and relax after the car ride so I put her critter keeper in Diggy's cage so she wouldn't have to deal with his advances right away. Chris and I looked away for about 5 minutes and when we checked on her, we noticed that Diggy was clearly interested in his lady friend:

How he got up there is beyond me.
After about 20 minutes we released Aurora to see how they would get along. I was very nervous because they kept nipping at each other, not hard but they didn't let go right away either. At one point Diggy seemed pretty frazzled so Chris took him out and Diggy proceded to nip Chris's hand repeatedly for about 5 minutes! Then we put him in the critter keeper til he calmed down. When we put him back in with Aurora he bit only a small piece of her skin on her belly and she did not react at all, she just let him. Then he started nibbling on her back leg, and then teenie little nips up her body and then!!!!!:

They got it on again a half hour later. After that Diggy tried one more time but she wasn't interested so she "snout butted" him and he backed off. The next night he tried again but she snout-butted him. And he left her alone. I'm very glad she is able to stand up to him if she isn't interested.

Hopefully they can coexist for a while. I know it's better to have more than one female but I don't want that many eggs. Anyway, that was my weekend. Just thought I'd share the pics with you guys.
