Web Site Redesign!

Hey we just had our web site overhauled! Check out the new design.

A big thanks go out to TheGino aka David for all the hard work! He put up with both Susan and I for the last couple of weeks as the site was put together, and we couldn’t be happier with the results.

Anyone looking for web design should definitely talk to him!

Thanks a lot for the kind words :D It was all well deserved as I am loving my new gecko :D If anyone is looking for high quality geckos, please go to Matt and Susan, really great individuals with awesome animals.

Matt -- take some pics for the collection page *grin*. It would be great to see pics of your breeding stock! I'd also love to see a gallery of some of your previous babies produced (kind of a best of the best page like you did up at the end of last year :))

Canadaherp : are you on dial up or a high speed connection? I have not had any problems with the page loading slowly.

high speed connection, whats loading slow is the backrounds, and the transitions (where the scripts close) and it cant be seen on olderversions of netscape ...

Its amazing probably one of the best designs I've seen. I love how when u move the mouse over a pic an enlarged version pops up. Great work TheGino and nice site Matt and Susan!

Sean : thanks David did a great job and it was completed quickly.

Canadaherp : our site stats for the last two years indicate that less then 3 people, thats three not 3% of the people that have been to our site are using Netscape 3 or lower. With more then 30 000 hits thats a very small percentage of people that would have problems with the web site. Not that I want to shun any customers or anything, but we have to keep moving forward with our web design if we want to keep up with others in the market place.

I found it a little slow loading too and i'm on highspeed. but otherwise it's realy crisp.

I was told that your pages don't load on mac operating systems. May be something to look at as well. I liked the site. Are you guys coming to the Calgary show in May? I didn't see it listed on your shows page.

Correction: It didn't work with Netscape 3.0

Just for clarification, Netscape 7.0 is the latest and even windows 95 has a higher version then 3.0.

And if I am not mistaken, the only thing that wont work on a old old old Mac is the mouseover affect on the menu and the news pop up.

Im not sure she uses iMac and said the page didn't work. I didn't see it so I dont know what it did.

I like the picture popups neat way to show your animals without the picutes being able to be copied

Ok I added some old pictures that I had kicking around of some adults of each and every species listed on there. I'm working on getting it to load faster and may move to a new host for the speed.

Greg: we wont be at the spring show, but if we have enough stock in the fall we will be out there!
