It's been almost 2 weeks since My little BP started shedding. It's not all off yet. There is skin all over in little bits and I was wondering if this is normal for a first shed? It is his first shed yes. I use my fogger for humidity and it doesn't seem to help that much. Occasionally I soak him. I fed him a mouse to see if it would stretch his skin so it was easier to shed. There is a rock in there for him to rub against and still nothing. Just wondering what to do... As it's been a while now. Please reply.

Well when any of my snakes have bits and pieces I either put them in a damp pillow case or let them crawl around in a rubbermaid with a large damp towel in it.
Usually works for me.

Whenever any of my snakes have a bad shed I fill a rubbermaid about 1/4 full of warm water and soak the snake until it comes off (Lid on).

Sometimes I leave them overnight and by morning all the bits are off and floating.

Good luck!

Next time he is ready to shed dump his water dish into the substrate of his cage and then fill the water dish back up with water. That should help increase the humidity to aid in the shedding process. Since the shed has been on for quite a long time after the original shedding it will be quite brittle and very hard to get off. I would recommed spraying him down with water and letting him soak it in for about 20 minutes......then scrub him with an old tooth brush.

Fill the tup up about an inch and a half full of water and stick him in there. In my tub it slants down so there's a shallow and a deep end. I had a similar problem to yours about 5 months back and it worked for me. Let him swim around for about five mine and DO NOT leave him un-attended

I have found that using a warm damp cloth to gently rub the old skin off will work.

I used corey woods' Techniques and it all came off. Took me a while because there was soo much skin but It all came off and he looks great again. I was kinda worried that the toothbrush would hurt him but it all went well. Hopefully the shed is better next time. Thanks alot guys. L8er
