When I'm ready, I think I'm going for a Cobalt Blue or a Bird Eater.

Does anyone have any pictures? Especially feeding pic's.

Thanks, Paolo.

Is there any other types of T's you would like to get other than those two??????

 Just wondering why those two?? You do know they are both agressive.. And the cobalt blue is more agressive than the goliath i think as i have had goliaths that were not agressive at all.. These T's might and might not take pinkies or fuzzy mice when adult size.. My cobalt blue that i had would rather rip your face off than anything and she was extremly fast.. she would take pinkie mice once in awhile and my 3 adult female goliaths i had , only one would eat fuzzy or pinkie mice.. I have a Brazilian Salmon Pink thats half grown, female and shes very agressive feeder.. Eatting anything i give her, shes up to eatting rat pinky pups that are just starting to get there fuzz once a week and the rest of the time she gets crickets and moths. Each T is diffrent...

T. Blondi, goliath bird eater..

I've been lucky that both my cobalt blue and mexican red knee enjoy pinky and fuzzy mice. I especially like it since I really hate crickets! I used to have a phobia but I'm getting better with it :)

I'm also very lucky that my colbalt blue is a pretty quiet girl so far. She's never moved so much as a hair every time I've had to open her enclosure and barely moves during the day and if there is light. I'll try to get some feeding pics but it'll be hard as she waits for her food to come to her in her burrow and she's webbed her burrow so much that I wouldn't be able to get anything in a picture...

If I do manage to take a pic while she's eating I'll be happy to post it :)

Yeah ever since I saw Pixies photos and asked her about the mice thing I have been feeding my T's both pinkie mice and gerbils. They LOVE them. I would still give crickets as variety but thats because I have leftovers. But I HATE crickets as well and its nice that they both enjoy mice.

Paolo, go to giantspiders.com ang click on the gallery. Once in the gallery at the top it says "click here for video thumbnails " once you do that if you place your cursor over the pic there will be a title for the video. There are feeding, mating and courtship videos then click on the thumbnail and that will give you a video.

My spiders have always been happy to take pinkies or pretty much anything else I toss in there.

I am happy its summer coming because I can take a trip into the bush far from any pesticides and harvest some of those big black crickets. The tarantulas go absolutely nuts for these!!

Whats nice is they get the size of a wine cork, not like them scrawny little brown ones that the pet shops peddle ;)

Its funny you brought those black crickets up...my roomate once foolishly (years ago) fed his anole one of those black ones. The anole grabbed it, took one bite and let it go. It would never touch another one again, not even chase a black one.

LOL I guess they are a spider treat, but nasty to lizards!

(p.s. he doesnt fed his anole anything like that these days)

I dunno how an anole would fit one of those big boys into its mouth lol

Who knows... maybe they have something on them that repels lizards? I know the spiders eat them like cheetos though hehe
