Does anybody know if there is a differene between the temper of a female suriname boa c.c. and a male suriname boa c.c.?
I know the female usually grows a bit bigger...but is there anything else besides that?
I don't think there is any... the female would be more aggressive when she is gravid but I think that's the only difference.

Males can become aggressive when they reach breeding age/size. You know how testosterone can be :p Females can get aggressive during ovulation as well. PMS is universal...... hehehe
I personally don't see much of a difference, except in situations mentioned by Zoe an LdyDrgn.

Hi,
I ve seen variety of personalities from same litter's its almost like each snake can be different male or female, if you want a quite gentle boa let the breeder know he can read them attitudes from day one.
My 2 cents grumpy babies usally are easy feeders. the more aggresive some babies are they seem to be real healthy boa's.
