Double Het for Blazing Blizzard Hatching Pic

I managed to catch this little guy hatching tonight.

He or she is the product of breeding a male blizzard to a Tremper albino female.

We have a DH for Blazing Blizzard group produced last year laying eggs right now. Hopefully we get the 1/16 Blazing Blizzard.

Apparently Blizzardlizard.com has 6 or 8 right now.

But basically if you can make patternless albinos, snow boas, and any other double recessive combinations you can produce a blazing blizzard.

I have some other geckos that I have produced that will greatly increase my odds at producing the blazing blizzards but I have to wait until next year to prove them out.

Right now I have my DH for Blazing group breeding but the odds of the blazing blizzard are only 1/16 so I have to produce a pile of eggs to get that one animal and be very lucky. Next year with my other "top secret" LOL geckos the odds will be cut down to 1/4.

It just takes alot of work and patience to get one but once you have one the rest is easy. I guess only time will tell.

I totally agree with you, if people have made all these double and tripple recessive mutations u will be producing blazing blizzards!!
