How much did your female IJCP weigh that you bred this year?

between 1400 and 1600 grams... however I don't know exactly how accurate that scale was. Well over breeding acceptable weight though.

Why?

I just got a female that's 1200 grams...she looks so small, but i was told she's a proven breeder.

She's a weird chocolate color...from VPI.

She's a cutie!... how long is she? She should be about 300 grams per foot.

She's 5.25' so that would make her quit a bit shy of the recommended 1575. I don't have a male anyway.

yeah... feed her lots and she'll be ready for you next year... then again, if she was bred already perhaps she is stunted :|

BTW, my eggs have filled out! Thanks for the papertowel idea!

Cool, I was just going to ask you about them. My coastal eggs look pretty bad...they are starting to cave in, but my humidity is still high, I don't get it. Paper towel trick didn't work for them.

I just had to add that that IJCP is absolutely gorgeous!!! I would love to have one just like that. When did you purchase her? Do you think VPI has any babies available? Just wow....

Thanks Rachel...I got her from another guy, not dirrectly from VPI. I have no idea what they have as all they advertise now is bloods.
