I use an old Tupperware or margarine container and cut a hole in it. I put wet sphagnum moss in and that's all there is too it.

Same here, it works like a charm and it is the cheapest way to go, esspecially if you have babies and will need to create bigger ones along the way.

It's really not that hard! And the snakes LOVE them. Here's what I did. I went to Target, and bought a med. sized Tupperware-style container with a lid.
I chose to cut out a cave-shaped opening on the side for the entrance. Then, in the lid, I cut a hole and glued in a humidity gauge directly on the top. After that's done, you can glue/cover the hide with moss, bark, plant leaves, or whatever you want to camouflage it and make it look natural. Here's what it looks like before you cover it to make it pretty...

I just put a small wet T-shirt (rinsed of all detergents) in his usual hide when he turns blue. Then take it out after he sheds. Works wonders :D

Take a ice cream container put it upside down, put moss in it, and cut a hole for an enterence. Make sure to keep it moist in it.
