wouldn't it make more sence to take the temp of the vermiculite, because thats were the eggs are on and keeping them worm??
Why don't you just take the temp everywhere in the incubator you are curious about?

i want to know where i should take the temp. so i know what the temp should be and where. example: Beardie eggs should be kept at around 30oC. I want to know where it should read 30oC for my eggs to survive.
I belive it refers to air temp.
