.....or not. With all the black. It is beginning to grow on me though. (pun intended) A possible 2x het/ghost Honduran I hope to breed in '04.
I prefer less black, but it is a very pretty snake and I bet you get some gorgeous babies.
I'm with Eyespy, he's a nice looking snake, but......
I love the black on it!! I love the bicolor hondos.
I agree with Vanan...that black in MHO makes that snake look great!!!!
I like the nice shade of orange he is as well! Good luck breeding him. :)

I like the least amount of black on one or very crisp candy like colours. I like that particular snake because the colours are pretty clean. Nice snake in my opinion!
I like it very much! I find the extra black brings out the orange more.

While broad black bands and black tipping are typically not so desirable in tangerines, I find they really add depth to the red color and I like this one a lot.
One of the neat aspects of black tipping and extensive black patterning is that when you get it into lines with albino or hypo genes that remove or diminish the black pigment, you have more impact in snakes which would have had a lot of black to begin with. Like with reverse okeetee corns, they are more dramatic because their white bands correspond to where the broad black bands would have been.
Even with anery in the heavily marked hondurans, I think you have a more dramatic snake, so I think this guy with such heavy black coloration is a real advantage in a breeding program. Hope he is confirmed as het ghost when you breed him.

I'm not much of a snake guy but that's a nice looking snake. I like the colors.
