View Full Version : Grasshoppers
I am a snake man myself and I know nothing about dragons (my wife has 3, but she knows even less). We feed pet store crickets primarily and mealworms once or twice a month. Is it safe to feed grasshoppers in the summer? Sure would be a lot cheaper! Please advise
It's not very safe to feed anything that you catch outside. For one thing, younever know what that bugs been into, it could be carrying a disease. And second, it may have come in contact with some pesticides which wouldn't be healthy at all. So basically, if you want a cheaper bug route, start breeding them!! :)

Pesticides are vary poisinous to lizards, I wouldn't enjoy eating toast with pesticide and since lizards are so much smaller it would harm them more then it would harm us. just think about it:)
