I'd have to say other, cause if it wasn't for my parents i would own a blood python right now, but I know what i can take care of and I wouldn't over do it. Wait that would make me be in the Hobby catagory:P

mmmm I think it more tend for a mentall illness for me.. and everybody around me think the same thing, so... lol I dont have a lot of reptile so u could classify me in hobby, but thats my comportment with them that say all:)

My girlfriend told be it's a hobby. I want to go mental and have my house filled with enclosures and aquariums(Like when I was single) but like I said, she TOLD me it was a hobby. I didn't bother to argue.

Hmmmm when I was single I had one pet. Now we're well into the double digits not counting the food. I guess until it becomes more then just an obsession it will be a hobby :)

Both... for me to want and get so many reptiles is just plain mental, and people call me crazy! but I do it because I enjoy it, and it's a hobby. Makes sense? :)

j/k...but seriously...there is a form of mental illness known as "hording" and domestic animals are often the unfortunate object of this form of obsessive compulsive disorder....you know, like the crazy cat ladies we all hear about:(

For me it's definately more than a hobby, I live and breath herps every single day, and animals have been my hearts focus since I was three. My parents blame Lorne Green and his New Wilderness, Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom and Jaques Cousteau (sp?) and his Deep Sea Adventures. I watched these shows growing up as faithfully as I did The Muppets:D

Hmm...I don't think I will ever have tonnes of animals (I have five herps and a cat), but I'd like to devote every day of a whole summer to field herping. That will probably never happen though...so it's just a hobby.
