Trace when she's all grown up her legs will be blue her body green and abdomen orange...can't wait.

Pixie I think she's just over an inch found her second molt since I got her yesterday.

This is one of the only species of tarantula that looks just as cool when its a baby as it does when it is adult. The colours change drastically between the juv and adult stages.

This greenbottles are dead easy to keep, and are not aggressive. They are jumpy and flighty though, so people have had trouble handing them because they tend to try and escape.

The reason they web so heavily is that in the natural environment down in Venazuela, they make their retreats at the bases of bushes and trees. The ground there is very loose and sandy so the theory is that they web heavily to act as support to keep the loose sand stuck together (we all know spider silk is very strong)

The only other SPIDERLINGS, in my opinion, that come anywhere near the greenbottle for eye appeal are the Costa Rican Tiger Rump (C. Fasciata) and the Venezualan Suntiger (P. Irminia) The Suntigers are my favs as adults... but they are VERY FAST and MEAN... let me say that again... VERY FAST and MEAN. They also have a hotter bite than most tarantulas and can make you pretty sick.
