digital hygrometer suggestions??

For those of you who keep many high humidity animals, what type of system do u have set up so that u can regulate all your animals accurately and easily.
Im thinking of investing in many small digital hygrometers, as i think that is the only way i can see it happening.
(unless someone invents a humidity gun)

Any suggestions on a good, moderately priced digital hygrometer?
i need a dozen or so...

Or does anyone have a good system they use.
Right now, im placing the couple of hygrometers i have in each enclosure for a short period to get a reading, however, its too time consuming.

I use a Springfield Precise Temp that I got from Home Depot for $14.99. It displays temp/humidity or temp/time. I would not reccomend getting this one however.
The humidity gage is extremly inaccurate. It does not go above 39%. You can submerse the darn thing in water (Ive tried) for 15 minutes and it will not go above 39%.
My friend had hers in her incubator and it displayed 29% and never anything above. (Which is total bull...)

Grant i have tried them all and beleive it or not, the plastic ones from like zoo med or whatever that looks like small clocks work the best, seriously :P I tried over 5 digital in.outs with hydrometer and NONE of them worked at all.

i use a bionaire digital hygormeter from canadian tire it cost 29.99 each the are very accurate temp and hum i found this one to work the best hope this helps you out.....

I use the little Zoo Med as well. It has always worked really well. Had it for almost two years now.

Huh i have two of the zoo med ones and i find them to be completely unacurate to test it i took a fish tank heater and a big jar and put them in a big rubbermaid tub let it sit untill about there was 2" of water on the bottom of the tub from condensation it said it was 60% maybe my 2 are just screwed i dont know

I have the Zoo-Med ones, and I find them to be rather inaccurate. Right now, I have one that reads a humidity below zero. :)

I recommend using the combo in/out digital thermometer with humidity gauge from Radio Shack. It costs about $29.99.

yea.. i have one from zoo med.. it always stay at 50%!

If you go to walmart they have digital temp/hydro for under 15 bucks! I bout 10 last time I was there...they had them on sale for 7.50. They have inside/outise temp and humitdy so u can see what ur temp and humid is inside and outside the encloser!

O by the way they are in the hardware section at walmart, where the big temp gauges are!

My Bro has a barazilian rainbow boa which requires quite a fricken bit of humidity. So he went to wal mart and bought a digital thermometer and hygrometer. His works perfectly fine and I think it was around 15 bucks. IT displays the average temperature of the day and the highs and lows of the day and the hygrometer is accurate too.. It reads about 90% humidity which is about right because it looks like a sauna in his terrarium. Anyways. I suggest checking out wal marts selection.

I have a "RadioShack digital thermo-Hydro" I think it cost 20 bucks!
it works great, and even has a min max mode and clock!

Grant, you could also try your luck at gardening and auto stores. I picked up an stick-on analog thermometer/hygrometer for about $4 at Canadian Tire's auto department once.
