Okay... I'm getting rather impatient now. My female Goniurosaurus luii has been looking rather lumpy now for about two months...
She began digging about the enclosure perhaps a month ago, and stopped after about 3 days of rustling about. This gecko looks like it's about to freaking explode and you can visible see the egg outline through her translucent belly lining, and more than see the lumpiness if you look at her from above.
I'm beginning to worry she may be eggbound. Is there anyone out there, with any association to Goniurosaurus sp. that can draw upon the duration these geckos will hold eggs?? Please and thank you. I greatly appreciate any help provided.
Thanks again all you gecko enthusiasts.

I provide my gonis with somewhere very deep and secure to lay the eggs, and that seems to help. I use a black hidebox, and make sure there is a lot of deep moss/peat moss under it. The substrate under the box is usually at about 5"+.
I don't think they usually hold their eggs that long myself. Usually they seem to be gravid about 4-6 weeks or so. Sign up to the gekkota listserv (www.gekkota.com) and ask there as well. Many more experienced goni keepers to help you.

Thank you very much, yet again, Youkai.
Yes, I have a rather deep substrate, of the materials everyone has recommended... And yet... No eggs... lol oh boy. It's so odd, because she seems bout ready to burst. None of my other eublepharines have ever taken this long to lay, so you can imagine I am getting concerned.

Hey, does that "listserv" cost anything to join??

Not a thing. It's just a mailing list, but the people on there are amazing. Trust me, if you like geckos, you have to sign up. There are vets on there and everything, you will get good advice.
