what would be the average tank dimensions for a slow grown, moderately fed adult male African rock python? would an 8’Lx4’Wx4’H be sufficient?

would the 8x4x4 be suitable size for an adult male Burmese python? i am also considering this species as well - debating between the 2

Many European countries have laws governing minimum tank sizes for reptiles. The tank sizes are usually much larger than snake owners in the USA use. I would check Germany's laws for clarification.

Based on US standards, the minimum tank size for a snake is L + W = adult length of snake. African rock pythons usually grow 15 to 20 feet long so an 8 x 4 is too small. Burmese grow 12 to 15 feet, so an 8 x 4 is barely large enough.
