HELP!! - white spots on my boa's head, something to worry about?

I noticed a few white specs on my boa's head a week or so ago, looked a like a few flaky scales and thought it was probably something that would get sorted out when she shed. After shedding today it looks worse, not sure if the scales are just discolored or missing entirely. After a stressful night of googling my only leads are a fungal infection or scars from rubbing, would really appreciate a second opinion.
