Hello everyone!
I am considering getting either a rosy boa or a kenyan sand boa as my first pet snake. (I think I am leaning more towards the rosy boa, but its pretty close!)
I was wondering what would be the best type of enclosure for either of these species. Based on my research, it seems both of these species need good ventilation. As I've conducted my research, it seem that the most common enclosure types has been Exoterras front opening enclosures or a rack.
However, I prefer the structure and design of PVC enclosures. They seem both more durable and more functional. If I were getting a species that requires more humidity - such as a rainbow boa - I would definitely be getting a PVC enclosure.
Does anyone use PVC enclosures for species such as rosy boas and Kenyan sand boas? If so, what size enclosure? Would ventilation or cage security be an issue?
I'm just curious.
Thank you so much!!!
