How would you describe the smell of snake musk?

What does it smell like exactly? Is it true that it can make people vomit even?

It’s an unpleasant smell for sure. Not sure exactly how to describe it though. Perhaps a person with a weaker stomach would barf but i don’t think it’s that bad. ��

I have only had done to me by two local species (Rhinechis scalaris and Natrix Maura) but for me it isnt that bad at all. I think the thing that would make others sick would be the visual more then the smell. I dont think it is a nice smell but it isn't extremely noticeable smell either.Thats just from my expierience.

Oh, it looks bad too? What does it look like? Are there pictures of it somewhere?

I think I'd describe snake musk as smelling like rancid vinegar. It really isn't that bad, I wouldn't expect most people to vomit. It can take a good scrubbing to get the smell off of you when you are musked.
