Hi all,
is this normal or a sign of a health problem? She seems super healthy otherwise. I have seen the blood the last 2 times she has shed. I have never seen it before. I'm attaching a photo of the blood during her last shed. It seemed to start when she was trying to get the shed off of her mouth and head:

Her temps are spot on.

My carpet was never bleeding like that (at least I didn't see that). Shedding can't affect to her mouth.
Lack of vitamin C and A can lead to stomatitis as well as physical injury o snake's mouth.

My guess is that you are causing the injury by "helping" the snake shed. You should never help a snake shed by doing anything other than adjusting humidity and providing a rock, stick, etc for the snake to rub itself against.

I can't figure out what is the difference between anaconda and phyton?
Anacondas are a type of boa. Pythons are a different group of snakes; both pythons and boas constrict live prey before eating it. :)

Pythons are more fun.
