Hello everybody.

I'm new to snakes and I got my first bp about a month ago. He's from this year, so I'm guessing 4 months (the breeder didn't give me an exact date and I didn't ask). He's normal enchi, het clown so no 'khem' controversial morphs. I've been handling him for about 2 weeks now.
He's eating fine (once a week), doesn't hiss, bluff strike or anything. But I've noticed he's a bit clumsy when he's climbing over me or around my hand.
I've put him on my shoulders a couple of times and I don't know if it's hard to move on the bare skin (since it's summer and hot as hell) but he sort of got stuck in place, on the flat surface of my shoulders. I've seen him trying to move (I watch what he's doing in a mirror, cuz he slid down my back twice now), his belly went all flabby, and when I put a hand under him for support he managed to move forward.
On the flat surfaces he's fine, except if he gets in a tight corner, then he sometimes turns his head in a way that I don't know what he's trying to accomplish.

So that makes me wonder if he's just trying to learn how his body works, or if he's just clumsy and a bit of a silly snake, or is that something to watch and be careful about?

There's nothing good that I found on line, except that he's not stressed, since he's exploring with moderate pace, his tongue is flicking, he doesn't ball up and even when I get him back in the tank he doesn't just run to the hide, but takes his time to circle the tank.

I'd appreciate all the advice and suggestions.
