Hello everyone,

This baby snake was found in our bedroom. I would appreciate if someone can help me identify it.

Also tell me how dangerous the situation is. I assume this means there is a snake nest somewhere. I am very concerned as I have small kids.

(I understand that the video may not show the snake's features in detail, but thats the best I could get)

The location is Risalpur, Pakistan. The area around my house is open and has grass, small vegetation and a few trees. There is no water body in the near vicinity.

Thanks

Aww its cute!
It looks to be some sort of blind snake (completely harmless) though i dont know much about the snakes in your area. I would almost 100 percent sure say that it is harmless though. Also, that may not be a newborn as many species of snakes such as blind snakes can start really, really small. I would keep an eye out for more as it is possible that eggs were laid close by (again though i don't know much about this species so this could be a newborn or a year old snake). You will probably get a more specific reply soon, but this is the best i can do. I hope this helps, and please know that this snake is completely harmless (as even if it was dangerous venom wise, it is so small that it would have no way to inject it though human skin).
