I had never really looked twice at the Amazon Tree Boas until a few days ago and now they are one of my new favorite snakes! :) Here are some pics of my new set up and new 1.1 pair of Amazon Tree Boas, Enjoy! :D

and here's a shot of the female, http://www.ssnakess.com/photopost/data/500/700sscn1877.jpg
As you can see I am holding them in both pictures because, to my surprise they are both VERY tame!!! :)

They are beautiful. I have just bought a pair of amazons in the last couple months. The female may just be settling in, so I wouldn't be worried just yet.
Good luck with them.

They are both very cute, but the female is by far a jewell!!! Well, you can stop handling her, put many Y shaped branches and plants and after a couple of days, offer one more pink at night. If i saw right, the cage is short. Offer a high cage for these cute arboreals. They are both garden phase?

Im not quite sure what you would call the "phase" of these, I am quite new with the Amazons. The female is a "halloween" as far as i've heard, and I stopped handling her after the failed feeding attempt. There are a few "Y" branches but they seem to spend most of the time together in the top right corner in the "ficus" leaves. And actually the cage is not short, it is a 16 gallon "tall" Oceanic.

Ok, then, keep all the appropriate conditions and wait for her to settle down, she is stressed. Don't handle her before she it's. And then again, after 3 days. Youngsters can easily regurgitate their food. This word "wait" is sacred when you have to deal with special herps like these. Good luck~Greg~
