This is why we don't pull the skin off. If it doesn't wipe off easily it's not ready to come off.

I've fortunately never dealt with an injury like that, so can't offer assistance. Just use this as a learning experience. Focus on husbandry to avoid stuck sheds in the future.

You can't post pictures until you've made 5 posts.

Your treatment options depend somewhat on what kind of snake you have, how old it is, and how well it tolerates handling. But, generally, the treatment is just to keep the area clean while it heals on its own.

A snake that doesn't cope well with handling can be soaked 15 minutes a day, every day for two weeks, in lukewarm chamomile tea. It has antibiotic properties and will help keep the area clean while the snake heals. Chamomile tea is safe to drink, etc, so full body exposure is acceptable.

A snake that will allow you to hold its tail in a soaking solution for 15 minutes daily, for two weeks, can have its tail treated with a soak in a chlorhexidine solution. The container of chlorhexidine that you purchase will have dilution instructions, my bottle says to add two tablespoons per gallon. To my knowledge, chlorhexidine is harmful to a snake's eyes.
