Apart from expos, I don't think I have ever been to a reptile store.

Well there sure isn’t any shortage of reptiles or reptile shops here in sunny SoFlo (south Florida)...

If ever in town, I recommend booking a tour through the Everglades where you can see all kinds of reptiles and amphibians in their not so natural, natural habitat. Due to hurricanes, perfect climate, irresponsible pet owners and other factors there is an abundance of exotic reptiles all over the place here.

Next, head up to Broward County for two of the best shops and knowledgeable staff at Underground Reptiles and The Jungle.

Although I support local pet shops by buying some supplies, I’ve always strictly purchased my snakes from breeders who specialize in the species of choice.
