So I got my first reptile (a flordia kingsnake) just over a year ago and so for things have been great. However recently something weird happend and I need some advise.

So he has been feeding on fuzzies for a while but has gotten to the point where he will get one down in about 10-30 secs, and seemingly starts looking for food a few days before his feeding day. However he still seems a little small for small mice at this point. To compensate on Saturday I gave him two fuzzies, but I’m a little concerned that his poop today looked different. Ill try to post a picture but to describe it, it almost looked like I could still see chuncks of mouse with fur attached, along with little turds instead a puddle like usual. (Although some of it was still goop, along with the white goopy part)

I still pretty new to this so I just want to ask, is this a concerning thing? Should I split up the fuzzies till after he goes poop, go back to one, upgrade to a higher size instead?

With Kings you want the prey to leave a slightly noticable lump after they've eaten. It's been a LONG time since I've had a yearling King, so I honestly don't remember what size prey I was feeding. But I'm assuming fuzzies are too small. Plus, keep in mind, fuzzies are just starting to develop, so they're not packed full of nutrients yet and are still high in water content. I'm guessing at that age he could take hoppers with no problem at all.
