Very nice set up, looks very natural. I especially like the outer finish. What is it made of?

That is a very nice set up. Unfortunately, it will not be any good for a ball python. The snake will destroy all of the plants that you have put un there. The wood and branches are ok, but the plants are of not value to the snake and are only going to be up[rooted and killed by it. You can use some hanging vnes to put in some green color. Just make sure they snake cannot reach them.

I do hope you never get a mite or tick infestation....
The wicker will be a haven for them to hide in.

It's not wicker. He said it's wood shovel handles covered by stickers to give it that appearance. ;)

guys is it just me or does that cage seem a bit too small for a ball python?

Just you.
Actually depends on the measuremenets and since it is hard to tell from the pic, which side is the long side, then it could be right at minimum for floor space.
And a bit tall or vice versa!

well then again it all depends on the size of the snake. and isn't it about 3 cm in an inch?
to small for a ball? I think it great size for a ball!

2.2cm/inch... 36" x 31" x 27" (approx.)...
It looks great btw :) Neat idea... It looks like you've used glass on the sides as well -- how do you have that attached to the wood?
thanks guys!!!
i made a line at the wood at the size of the glass with router and i put the glass inside.
it's my favorite terarium!!
i have made one more with metal and glass too..i'll put photos soon!!
thanks again!!!
if anyone want any close up photo of explain how i made it just pm!!

It looks a little bit big for a ball python. It looks more along the lines of a carpet python cage or something alone that size. I can see having a ball python cage that size if it is your only snakes or you have a couple of them in there.
