Hey, so i am making a trip to texas for a week this summer and wanted to see if you guys could give me some advice as of species, time of day for herping... So i am gonna be near brazos county texas, and as i live in Spain, it is a big change of habitat, temperature, and species. Any advice?

I've only herped in Texas in the Spring and Fall, and that was in East Texas. I'd imagine during the summer that it's hard to flip or hike much during the day since it'll be so hot, but it's worth a shot. You're best shot is probably going to be cruising at night.

Here's a reference I pulled off google - seems to show all the species with their respective ranges.

Yeah i planned on doing most of the herping during the early morning and night because of the heat. Also thanks for the resource, I really appreciate!
