I have a 1 year old anery stripe Kenyan sand boa who I have had for about 2 months, she ate once but hasn’t since. Every time I try feeding her she shows interest in the food and often bites or strangles it but then eventually lets go and doesn’t eat it. When I bought her they told me she was eating frozen thawed just fine. My parents won’t tolerate live mice in the house. I feed at 9-10 pm because it’s when she’s normally active. Does anyone have any tips for feeding. I am used to Hognose snakes which are normally fairly easy to feed.
Care & setup:
Hot spot 90-92 degrees, cool spot 70-75, heat pad and red heat lamp (dims at night)
Aspen bedding, half shell coconut hide, cholla cactus wood, fake plants
