a new rescue

Hey guys,
Last week I got a call from the zoo that there was a 2meter Boa in a office building
and they were affraid of catching it so they called me .

Its a male Venezuelan Boa.c.imperator
he's about 1.80 (6ft)

-What we later found out that it was the boa that escaped 6 months ago from the zoo!!!
-He looks very healthy but he had ticks all over him.
-We named him grumpy because thats just what he is !!! striking at eveything he sees moving ,even himself!!.

I hate seeing rescues but I love seeing rescued.

For the most part I hate to that that one has had to be rescued but then You got to love when one that is in a bad home, or has escaped rescued it makes you feel good!

Glad eerything worked out. He's a beauty from what I can see :) I'd be biting at everything too if I had those ticks latched on to me :eek:

Well this zoo lol ,
The ppl that work there just dropped school and needed a job ,
They are afraid of everything even a harmless duck .
i am kinda the reptile man at the zoo .they just have to give the parrots food the black panther the puma's,monkeys and the other animals but i do the reptiles wich are 3 snakes and 3 dwarf caiman ,
It's a shame that the ppl are afraid from the snakes they say ; Snakes are the devil and that the snakes will kill you .
I think the zoo would have to get better keepers but there aren't any .There was one though he was from venezuela .he said he is a "VET".One they the zoo workers were telling me that a parrot broke his beak and that the venezuelan guy "ANDRES" had to help the pore thing ,so he went to but some glue but glue for plumming , So he took some newspaper and glued the beak .2 hours after that the glue started to burn .and the parrot died soon after ,It's kinda funny how DUMB ppl can be sometimes but i feel bad for the parrot that had to suffer!.,But he isn't working for the zoo anymore .

Oh they feed the pumas by throwing in the meat and the bacl panther "poech" is very tame .
