View Full Version : HELP! BP eye issue?? Maybe?
I have a 1.5 year old ball python. She eats great, and her last shed was a little patchy due to low humidity (fixed!) in my apartment. I took her out for some handling today and noticed this white-ish eye-lid like mark in the corner of her eye.
Does anyone know what this is, and if I should be worried?? Thank you!

Is it still there?
Yes, it is! I was hoping to get an idea from the forum as my vet office was closed at the time of the post.
I did take her last night. The vet isn't sure either, however she said my snake is very healthy, my husbandry is great, and she doesn't think it's a concern. I was given some gel to put on her eye with a follow up in two weeks.

It could just be a stuck shed piece too.

I can't remember what the actual name of what you're seeing is, but I've seen it before. It can happen during shed or the snake can cause it by rubbing against a rock or something similar.
Very important!!!! Don't mess with it. It'll correct itself intime.
