Humid hide flooring??

What does everone use in thier humid hides?? I am using a coconut dirt type thing for in the humid hides but my geckos make a big mess of it. So I'm wondering what everyone else uses so I might get an idea to find something better.

i am using vermiculite but i have used Peat moss (dried out kinda quick) and shpagnam moss. I liked the shpagnam moss it kept its moisture the longest but I have only been using vermiculite for a couple day's?

I use wet paper towel and it works fine. I believe it's not good for egg laying hides however. Paper towel dries up fast unless you wadd up about 8 sheets and soak it with about a cup of water.
