Odd acting boa

So I am new to this forum and new to boas. I did a bunch of research on them before I got one and I have other reptiles as well. My temperature and humidity levels are good. I have only had him about a week.
My baby BCI Taco is strange acting. It seems to stargaze often or will stare at the wall for long amounts of time. Like for example it is morning here and my room is getting the morning sun and he is out and looking at the wall. Sometimes it is just a level stare and sometimes he will look at an angle or straight up. He does react though is you wave something in front of his face.
Could it be he is curious or is it something worse?

Does he have other symptoms? Snakes do snake things. He could just be staring out.
