So recently I decided my carpet python Alice needed a tank upgrade. She was getting a bit to big for her old one and it was much harder to clean. So here's what shes in now. https://imgur.com/a/fdfUmgf
As you can see from the image she is a bit on the defensive side. I've tried to hold her before but for some reason she scares me. So any advice and tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading!

I was not able to see any bedding material in the enclosure. If there is none, then I would recommend that you add some for her comfort. Eco-Earth is good stuff and lasts a long time with just spot cleaning. Just a thought...

I do actually have eco earth in there. I use it for all my snakes. Great bedding for holding humidity
If the cage pictured is the one that you just upgraded to, I would say that it's not suitable for a carpet...they can and do spend quite a lot of time on the ground, and your enclosure appears to lack the proper floor space for your python as well as many loose rocks that can dislodge and roll onto the snake without much room to crawl around on the floor of the cage. Just my observations of course.
