Hey everyone, I accomplished getting a few photos uploaded onto my members gallery... but now I'm having problems loading a custom avatar. I have a photo in mind... I just need to shrink it. I looked in the HOWTO forums for help... but my photo is a JPG not a GIF. I have the photo stored on a floppy diskette. If anyone can provide some suggestions on getting my avatar set up I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks in advance!

It needs to be less than 100x100 pixels in size. Most decent image programs will shrink it for you.

Or you can post it here and someone can save it and resize it for you and repost it so you can snag it to use.

Well, suffice to say you guys really haven't helped me much. Where the heck do I find a program to shrink my pic so I can use it as my avatar???? I did find the one in the HOWTO forums, but it's for GIF imagaes, not JPG's. If you guys can help me out I'd really appreciate it!!!!

You can use adobe photoshop if u have it......I know it used me on kazaa...plus u can animate with it! Or u can do a search for flash and play around with it, but its a bit harder to learn. But paintshop pro will so it, bout any decent photo editor will do it.

Or like The Omen said u can just post the pic here and someone can resize it for ya and post it!

Hey Samba, send the pic to me and I'll resize it for you. Just put a little note of what you want to capture most.

Just press the e-mail button on top of this reply.

Thanks you guys, I finally got it done. The weird thing I didn't realize would happen is all my posts from the past have the new avatar on it! So, what do you guys think of my Basil? He was a beautiful gecko. Anyways, thanks again!
