Hello all, new to the forum
I have a vision tank (model 111). I am looking to get a Kenyan sand boa.
My question is about heating. I am looking for what would be the best heating fixture or fixtures for this tank. Using an under the tank heat pad will not work in my current situation
any advise would be appreciated. I have been looking at Zilla low profile fixtures

Welcome to the forum! An under tank heater is fine as long as it's controlled by a thermostat. There should also be an overhead lamp.

You can use something to prop the enclosure up an inch or so, then the UTH won't ruin the table. I've been doing it for years.

Heat mats aren't designed for ambient temps. They are there solely to provide a hot spot.
