I am just curious as to how long you can leave rats on the counter to thaw to room temperature before they are considered bad? I work 12 hour days and never seem to have time to thaw out roses for feeding except on my day off. I’d like to throw them on the counter to thaw when I get home and go to bed. I typically sleep about six hours. How long are they good after they actually thaw? Will be medium sized wraps. Any info would be greatly appreciated

You can defrost them in your fridge too.

Counter works better since they are multiplayer in each bag. I only need 2 this week as not the feeding week for the 3rd snake.

You can also put then in very warm water (hot tap water) and thaw them out in about 30 minutes. I've been doing this for years and the extra water on the wet rats is a bonus. Just a thought...
