Where do I put the shelf???

I am building (well my husband is bless him) a four tier viv set up for my corns, I am just wondering where it is best to put the shelf at the hot end or at the cool end I don't know which would be best, would really apprciate all advice. Thanks.. :)

Most manufactured cages have a shelf that runs the entire length of the cage, and about 1/3 of the depth of the cage.

I suggest both if possible.

I have to agree with Lasher, put one at both ends if possible.
