Unfortunately I did not notice my tree frog and he had one finger in the terrarium door. I shut the door on his finger accidentally and he jumped causing his finger tip to be severed. I did not see any blood or anything and treated him with neosporin. He is still getting around and seems mostly ok. Only the suction cup on one finger was damaged. Is there anything else I can do for him? Will his finger heal back as a nub or will he regenerate his suction cup? I feel horrible...

It looks scabbed and a little red. He's still moving around the tank quite a bit but stays away from the door. Normally when I go to feed them he pops down upside down with his head sticking out and I have to get him onto my finger and to the back or side. I slipped one time and this happens... Will he be okay? What do I look for if he was to get an infection?

What I'm doing seems to be working. He just looks like it has a little scab on the end, no redness. He looked a little weird at first, I think he was hurting... He seems to be doing better now or at least not in pain. I don't forget to look anymore. He's matured(croaks)... he was about the size of a quarter when I got him. I'm glad it didn't turn out to be an emergency but I'm still watching, etc. just to be sure he stays okay.
