Vision Cage? I guess Visions are OK for Bitis, But i will NEVER keep another Crot or Moc in one. ;)

Yeah its a vision...... I only put bitis in my visions..... I would not keep more active species in a vision though..... I like the visions for bitis because it is very easy to control temp and humidity....... Also as we all know bitis are not the best climbers nor are they the most active species around..... I think visions are great for certain species and not so great for others......... There are also ways to modify a vision to work for the species you would not normaly want to keep in a vision.......

I stick to my Precision Caging ;) Had a Timber decide he like the ledge over the door of a vision. Hard to get one down without sticking your hand in there.

Yeah well fortunatly bitis are not that inclined to climb....... They are just alittle too clumsy to perch on that little ledge....... I would have to say that rattlers are alittle more agile....... And I would think twice before putting any kind of cobra species in a vision....... I had to put a strip of wood in for the over hang on the bottom because baby gaboons like to hide under it........ BW I like the cages you use........ But I also like the slidding glass feature of visions...... Also, do those cages hold substrate in ok????

They hold substrate great and the temp gradient and humidity control is unparallelled. They are easy to open with a hook. Easy to close quickly. And since they hinge up, it makes it harder for species to climb when you are closing them rather than just closing a gap with sliding fronts. I really like that you can get locks for them and that the vent holes are onthe back.
Nice! How old is him?

ETET,
He is only a year and a half old...... He was captive bred my me..... All of his litter mates were sold.... I held him over for myself because he was the nicest one out of the 27....... There were only 2 born dead....... It was my best breeding ever........
Thanks Gregg. Show us some pic if you have any newborns coming up. I'm going to breed some western this coming year, the parents are more on yellow-pinkish side.
