Hi! I got my baby sand boa 2 weeks ago and was told he was eating f/t pinkies. I have tried to feed him twice now and he just wont take it, he just shed yesterday and it was almost a full shed just a small bit on his head was stuck so I gave him a warm bath and it came off fine. He is in a 10 gallon tank with aspen, a water dish (on the cold side), and a log to hide in. I waited a full seven days to try and feed him the first time, (I've been trying every sunday) and he didn't eat but I'm pretty sure that's just because he was in shed. I tried to feed him around 6pm today in a small plastic tub and he wasn't interested at all, I left him in the tub for over an hour then switched to a paper bag for around 3 hours, both were sitting in the cage. I finally just let him crawl out and burrow down because he didn't want it at all. I tried scenting the pinkie with chicken broth also, still no reaction. And when I shake it with tongs he just runs the other direction. The store I got him from recommended a live pinkie which I will try later this week. I now just have it sitting in his tank on a paper towel thinking he might eat it later after I've gone to bed. Any other suggestions to try and get him to eat f/t?
