Hi there, new to this forum. I have a young ball python going through her first shed with me and is having difficulties. Her eyes have glazed over and her head is starting to turn white, but she has been at this stage for close to two weeks. I have used spray, given her baths, and nothing has changed. Her humidity and temps are all fine. She is very sweet and lets me look at her and touch her head, I cannot seem to help her start anything. :sorry: Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum and best wishes with your new BP. If your temps and humidity are on point just let her do her thing. Some snakes take longer to complete the shedding process. There's no need to bathe or even disturb her. They've been doing this for millions of years. Relax and enjoy the show. Even if she has a bad shed. We can remedy that easily. For now just leave her and mother nature alone. :)

Spot on, Ziggy.

Just let your snake shed. They don't need our help. Just keep the husbandry on point, bump humidity a bit during shed and leave the snake alone to do its thing.
