hey guys, i just witnessed a very wierd thing.
i was on a trip for 2 months and left the care for the animals to my parents. when i returned i had this boa, that went into shed. probably didnt have enough moisture because it got stuck a bit. everything sounds normal - it happens. but with this shed she came out of it with a totally different color. its like she lost some of her pigments. i waited for another shed maybe it will be fixed somehow but it didnt change. ill upload here a picture of her before and after the color change. and i want to ask you, have someone ever witnessed or heard of somehing like this? has any explenation??
the morph was simply a motly. the higher quality photo is the original color.
thank you for you time!

Colours change as animals age including morphs. Maybe it's an extra gene or maybe it isn't a pure BI and had something mixed in.

my boas seem to change all the time. my motley definitely goes from really dark to really silver
and my corn island go from silvery grey to an almost khaki green sometimes its like having two different snakes . really cool tho
they also change colour from juvenile to adult especially my bcl and of course my img has changed loads
