as far as I know any snake has cloudy eyes right before shedding.

It is sometimes difficult to tell when some snakes are in blue. I had a Pearl Honduran that was VERY difficult to tell when she was in blue. Many times, I would find out when I discovered the full shed in her cage.

I can never tell when Jerkface's eyes are in blue either. He's only shed twice with me, but the only sign I've seen that it's coming is that his colors go really dark and muddy. Then, in about 24 hours, he leaves me a skin.

A snake's eyes are a cloudy blue until just before it sheds, in my experience. I've seen
a small handful of shed skins from my gray band, and it's relatively easy to tell when his
eyes are blue.
