Hey guys, got a new Jungle and wanted to ask for advice on feeding. I have another Jungle (Minion) that I've had since she was a baby, but this one I recently got looks to be a bit of a juvenile. Since I've only had the one before this addition, I can't say that I'm "experienced" in knowing the growth rate of a Jungle. So I wanted to ask your opinion. She is about and inch and a half at her thickest section and she's about 4 feet. Shes about 3-4 years old I think. I'm wondering if that is a bit small and if I need to up her feeding. The person I got her from, IMO, didn't seem to feed her as often as he said he was just from looking at her size, but I could be wrong. As said I'm not all that experienced. She eats readily when I feed her so no issues there, but I want to know if you guys think that's small for that old of a Jungle.

Thanks

An actual weight or pictures would assist us in helping you.

I agree with Andy. Do you know her weight or have a pic? Also, what size prey are you feeding her now and how often?

Here are some pictures. O do not know her actual weight. I just got her do I as going to feed her once a week. I fed her yesterday, so this coming Sunday will be next. She is on large mice currently, though the last batch I had ran a bit small, and I fed her two of them. Thank you for replying.

She doesn't look too small but she should thicken up a bit if fed properly. I'd suggest getting her on rats asap unless you want to continue feeding multiple mice. She could easily handle a small or maybe even a medium rat at that size. My 2 jungles eat medium, large and jumbo rats and they're not much larger than your girl.

She looks good, but packing on a little weight wouldn't hurt.
Beautiful carpet!
