Hey Ya'll,

i am a new snake owner and new to this site i have done a lot of research on snakes and my snake but I'm in a pickle and don't know what to do my central american boa (Ares) is on his 3rd feeding with me this week he is about 9 months old. his first 2 feeding went outstanding. this one not so much he just wasn't striking. i realized his eyes were cloudy and after research i found stuff on him being in shed and wont eat because of that. so i just let him be for a few day he just curled up in his hide. now there is no shed and his eyes are not grey anymore. my question is do i let him be some more or do i try to feed again.

Hi kracken. Welcome aboard and best wishes. After their "blue" phase a snake's eyes will usually clear up for a few days and they'll shed shortly thereafter. Your critter should shed any day now. Hopefully you'll share some post shed pics of your boa. :)

Mine usually shed 1-2 weeks after the eyes clear up and will feed again right after
