Hello. My carpet is 7 month old and when she was going from my arm to a table I was watching a film on my monitor and somehow she fall down (
I don't know how she slide down I was sitting very fixedly.
First her body slided down and after that her head from a table moved down too. After falling she started moving instantly. On a floor is a slim carpet and below is parquet. After that I placed her to her hide box.
She is there in hide box and 2 nights she didn't come out. After firs night I take her from her hide box and let her go back. Looks like she is fine.
Today is a feed day.
Is it right if she'll take a good she is fine ?
Why she don't come out ? Is this bc she is fear after wall down ?
Thanks and don't be rude pls.

Unfortunately, it happens. Don't feel bad. As long as the snake is still moving properly and you can't see anything that looks "off or different" your snake should be fine. You can check to make sure she can still hold herself up using the 1/3 of her body closest to her tail. That will be an indicator of any injuries. You can also flip her over onto her back. If she can flip herself back over easily and normally she should be fine. Just keep an eye on her

craigafrechette, thanks for reply. I think I have to test her like you said a bit later. If she had a crack in her bones she need time to heal. And this kinda tests now can hurt.

They're pretty tough critters. I'm glad she wasn't hurt.

EL Ziggy, I saw a video about vipers. Viper strike so fast and if a human had that speed of move of his had he'd lost his consciousness . So it means snakes brain can take much more strain than ppl's do.
