Any audiophiles here?

Hey guys

So like the title says. I'm looking for a music playing option for the second floor of my house. I often use my home theater on the main floor to blast music for the house but the quality bouncing up the stairwell and changing songs is a pain. I'm looking for an option I can play CDs and music from my laptop. I have PSB alpha 5.1 with T1 towers for fronts on the main floor to give you an idea what I'm looking for quality and performance wise. I like the crisp clear natural sound of the PSB vs some of the other top brands. My laptop has bluetooth. Looking for some recommendations.

Well the problem I'm seeing is that BT doesn't have the same performance in terms of sound quality than any cabling has. There's some progress on it (some high end BT headsets have decent quality) but I don't think it's there yet.

There are however devices that work over Wifi, basically a DAC with Wifi, that you could either connect to any amp (some have an amp inside) or active speakers of decent quality.
