If you have a hammock that can securely support the size and weight of your snake and they enjoy climbing up on stuff, why not?

Some of my crew would probably appreciate a hammock. I think the house and Russian rat snakes likely would. Some such as the ball pythons and hognoses perhaps not so much. You won't know until you try. If you don't see your snake using it after a while, try placing it at different heights or locations in the cage. If they don't use it you aren't out of a lot of money though.

If you have a semi arboreal or arboreal snake species go for it. Even some terrestrial species such as a BCI or a corn snake will love the space to play. Just make sure you get a hammock that can support the specific snakes weight.
