i have 2 hognoses and when i got my first one she wanted to escape the cage or atleast it looked like it she would slither around and try to climb up the sides
then a year later i got a new one and she is now doing the same thing and i don't know if it is an issue or not.

That is just something all snakes do. Especially when they are new they are moving around, investigating their new home. It usually happens less when the snake finds out the limits of its home range though you'll see them occasionally testing corners and such every now and then.
High temps can cause this as well but if you other one stopped and this one is set up similarly I wouldn't worry about it.

Very normal behavior, especially for Honduran Milksnakes anyway. I find that every time I do a complete cleaning of my enclosures (remove bedding, scrub with disinfectant and replace with new bedding) that they treat it like a new enclosure and make their rounds to see if there's any way out.
